Ivory Meadows, LLC Summer Wedding 
Yellow Springs, OH

I am so excited to share this classic and elegant wedding at Ivory Meadows, LLC in Yellow Springs, OH! This venue provided so much natural beauty. There were rolling hills, open fields, and an absolutely stunning wildflower patch. Additionally, the spacious, bright, white building is the perfect canvas for decorating however you want. I was so pumped about this wedding, and the minute I showed up I knew it was going to be a good time. Mia and Brecklin had such a special day. 

I started the morning by snapping some details and grabbing some getting ready photos. There were nine bridesmaids, nine groomsmen, and both sets of parents getting ready in the suites so there was a LOT happening. Both rooms were bursting with so much love, joy, and excitement. It was a lot of fun to watch the bride and groom with all of their loved ones. The highlight of the morning was watching Mia and Brecklin hand out gifts and letters to each of their parents and all of the members of their bridal party. I especially loved the custom cufflinks that Brecklin gifted all of the groomsmen. 

Next, we stepped outside into the sun for the four first looks. I think this was the warmest wedding I’ve worked so far. The temps were in the 90s and there was hardly a cloud in sight for the first half of the day. Everyone had such an amazing attitude about the heat and we tried to keep everyone in the AC as much as possible. First, Mia’s mom and sisters walked her out to show her dad her dress, then Brecklin had a first look with the Bridesmaids, then Mia with the Groomsmen, and the grand finale was the Bride and Groom first look. One of the best parts about photographing weddings is catching all of the sweet family moments; and there were no shortage of those throughout the day. My top two favorites were the quick family prayer that Mia had with her parents and sisters, and then when Brecklin’s parents and siblings all walked Mia down the hill to her first look with him.

After a quick break inside, the couple braved the heat again for some couples portraits in the wildflower field. LET ME TELL YOU the direct sunlight over the colorful wildflower field is something that I will never get over. These turned out so beautiful. 

In the afternoon the ceremony was held on the back patio area. All of the guests were asked to dress in black to fit the classy black and white color palette.  The aisle was framed with stunning white and green floral arrangements and the ceremony was accompanied by live music.

The reception was full of lots of dancing and heartfelt speeches. Once the dance floor opened up I snuck the couple out for some sunset portraits in the open field. In my opinion, taking the time to do some sunset portraits is always worth it, and this particular sunset did not disappoint! 
Later on in the evening, Mia and Brecklin surprised their guests by joining the live band for a couple songs. It was so much fun and everyone loved it. 
The couple ended the night with a super sweet private last dance before their grand exit in their bright red getaway car. 
The thing that I loved most about this wedding day was that I could genuinely feel the love and joy from the couple, their friends, and their family all day long. It was amazing.
