Cuyahoga Falls Engagement Session - The Ledges & Pav's Creamery 
Choosing meaningful locations for your photos

This past summer, I had the honor of taking Scott and Rebecca’s engagement photos and I loved every minute of it! We had the perfect summer day and honestly had a blast running around the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. I met Scott and Rebecca at our church in March 2023 shorty after they moved to Ohio, and I definitely think that taking their engagement photos solidified our friendship. I love when acquaintances turn into clients and then turn into good friends. 

We started the afternoon in the woods on The Ledges Trail which is actually in the same area where Scott popped the question. After an outfit change we moved out to a gorgeous open field by the trailhead for some dreamy summery shots. Rebecca absolutely loves ice cream, so we wrapped up the day with a visit to Pavs Ice Cream in Cuyahoga Falls which has the perfect vintage ice cream shop vibe. 

There are so many beautiful places to take your engagement photos. Ohio really does have a lot to offer as far as locations go. But what made this day so special is that Scott and Rebecca chose locations that were meaningful to them and their relationship. If you have a restaurant, park, street, or building that means something special to you and your fiancé I would encourage you to find a way to incorporate it into your photos! First, it really does help you get into that lovey-dovey mood which creates real emotion that is palpable in your photos. Second, it makes your photos unique to you! No couple is the same,  and no love story is the same. So why would you want to take photos that don’t feel authentic to your unique story and personalities?
